|Location :||Chelsea, Quebec|
|Client :||Nordik Spa-Nature|
|Area :||255 square meters|
The firm was tasked by the Nordik group to conceive two new custom-made pavilions that were added to the existent complex, in Chelsea. The first building contains a Russian sauna: it is entirely built in concrete (walls and top) combined with a green roof. The second building is a relaxation pavilion, a waiting room that connects to the other massage pavilions, located on the top of the mountain. This second pavilion has a system of beams and columns made out of solid wood (Douglas fir). The rooftop is also covered in plants with a terrace for exterior recreation. The major characteristic for both custom-made pavilion is the foldable glass on the two facade walls that can open during the summer.
